These are one of a kind pieces of artwork, each hand carved by a skilled artisan.  Fossilized mammoth ivory is legally harvested from the permafrost of Siberia.  These are carved from the "bark" of the tusks and due to mineral deposits, are a shade of light, reddish brown.  The carving is hightly detailed.  Truly unique!
